We put Lily in her entertainment center for the first time last week. She mostly just drools on everything, but seems to have a great time doing it. (sorry for the sideways filming, I guess I was trying to be “artsy”.)

>Thumbsucker!

Well, it looks like we have a thumbsucker on our hands. We were at Chipotle yesterday when we discovered this. I caught her at it again this morning!

While it’s the cutest thing I’ve ever seen and I’m very happy that Lily can soothe herself without help from Mama or Daddy holding a pacifier in her mouth, I’m a little concerned about how you take away a thumb once it’s time for her to stop! Though, she’s sleeping through the night now, a straight 12 hours, so if it’s the thumb that’s doing the trick, I’m not interested in stopping it anytime soon.
Lily also has found a friend in the ceiling fan in our bedroom. I laid down to see what could make her get this excited, but I’m at a loss. I’m just happy to have found one more thing she can amuse herself with. Apparently it doesn’t take much.

Lily received a hand embroidered Feltman Bros. dress from aunt Sylvia! A classic must have for all little southern girls wardrobes. Though Lily was born in the Midwest, she insists on being dressed in the clothing of her Dixie heritage. She was so overjoyed to be dressed in such finery she passed out on the changing table before church this morning.

The youth group served at our church dinner today. The girls swarmed when they saw her!

Lily knew they all wanted to be wearing their own Feltman Bros. dresses.

“Oh yes they want one.” Lily thinks.

After lunch she displayed herself on the table in her new dress for all to admire. Thank you aunt Sylvia!
