The Mad Hatter. Lily wearing Phil’s hat and getting a big kick out of it.
You had to find out at some point, Lily isn’t all smiles all the time. I know you’re shocked, but even angels cry sometimes. She has officially reached that “attachment” phase. I can’t leave a room without some tear shed (Lily’s, not mine). This morning I went to wash my hands after changing her diaper and this did not make her very happy.
But I came back and all was well again.

We had a tropical heat wave on Wednesday and got up to 62 degrees! Lily and I had to take advantage of that and played in our backyard for the first time.
We played with grass, sticks and leaves! She was pretty good about not putting anything in her mouth except one leaf that quickly came back out.
We also played with Daddy.
This was nice while it lasted. We’re back in the teens today with more snow on the way.
