Lily is 9 months old today. It’s hard to believe that in 3 months she’ll be a year old! I can really tell she’s ready to get around. She’s been getting pretty frustrated that she can’t get where and what she wants. She wants to be going all the time now, but since she’s rolling and figuring out that she is mobile I think she’ll be a little happier and more work for me! She still isn’t very interested in table food, except the kind Phil and I are eating. She watches us and makes chewing noises, but when I give her something, it’s a no go. Maybe it’s because she doesn’t have those teeth yet. She’s about 22 lbs and almost 30 inches long, so I guess she’s doing ok. What a happy and sweet little girl. Happy 9 month Day Lily Ruth!

Look at those cute little toes!!

Lily rolls!! I can’t believe it! She was playing under the coffee table again this afternoon, on her back and when I looked down she was on her tummy. She’s done that on occasion, but I wanted to see if she could do it again and she did! Then to my big surprise she went from her tummy to her back! And she’s been rolling around all afternoon! I’m so proud.

In other news she’s also started to give kisses and wave “bye-bye”. Maybe I can get some video of that soon.

Here’s Lily’s new sundress that she actually got to wear outside this week! I thought these days would never come. We were in the high 80s and sweating away! Woo Hoo! Don’t get too excited though. I had to pull out the coats this morning, it was back in the 40s and rainy. 🙁

Someone help this baby before she realizes there’s more than a tiger in her tank but one in her blood too! My dad sent this shirt and though she’s cute in it (and we all know she’d be cute in a paper bag!) I’m not too sure about my little girl being a “Future Tiger”. Maybe Dad’s the only one outside of Husker country that cares about this poor innocent child’s future. Sniff, sniff (do I have to beg for some burnt orange here???).
