I back up a bit to May 26: Lily finishes the 8th grade! I’ve never been to a middle school graduation before but there’s a first for everything.

Confirmation Day

May 1: There are few days that give parents greater joy than the days their child is baptized and then the day they are able to make a public confession of their faith for themselves.
Given faith and salvation in her baptism, confirmation day is just another step she takes as she continues to grow in that faith. She marches in the Church Militant, now with the privilege to be strengthened in the battle at His Altar by His Holy body and blood.
We are blessed to call Lily our child but even more blessed to know she is God’s child.
