A Walk in the Park

FINALLY! A couple “warm” days! We had to get outside Wednesday and Thursday. We actually got to the high 60s on Thursday! Woo Hoo!
Taking a walk.
Wearing shorts! Really I just had to try on some summer clothes to see what will fit Lily. I’m so excited to think that it’s actually time to start getting out our Spring and Summer clothes. Not that we’ll really be wearing them outside for a while, but who can wait?! Here Lily wears a 12 month top and shorts aka daisy dukes and a midriff.
We can get to our swing set now! The snow covered the bottom of the swings for so long I wondered if we’d get to use them this year.
And Clara saw grass again…she decided she does not like grass.
But all good things come to an end. We got more “nos” on Friday.
>Basketball Lesson

Last night we headed over to the basketball court for some b-ball lessons.
Phil thought Lily was ready for some one on one.
But by one on one Daddy really means just one.
Clara couldn’t wait for her turn but I told her before she can dribble she has to learn to walk.>Auction.

We hit up another auction here in town last weekend and made out pretty good! We got another upright freezer (for beer!), a baby gate and a children’s table and chair set!
Lily helped Nancy keep track of all the sales.
Making sure no one got her table and chairs!
Here’s one of the chairs. I thought I would remove this cover and recover them with something cuter, but to my surprise what was underneath was perfect!
I loved the green so will keep them the way they are!
This set was missing a chair but we got it for $7.50! It’s pretty old and very well made. I was very excited about this find!
