December 22: It’s another big day for Rose! The casts are gone and a new stage begins. Ponseti boots. She’ll wear these for 23 hours a day until at least March when we’ll go back for evaluation. After that she should only have to wear them while sleeping. They’re definitely more awkward than the casts were but at least now she can bend her knees and get some stretches in.
December 20: Through December I’ve attempted to get some nice “Christmas” photos of Rose, it hasn’t always gone well, but I did manage to get these I used to put together a card to send to the nurses in the NICU.
December 8: Everything she needs in life. Rose saw her neurosurgeon today for another check up and with great thanks we have absolutely nothing to report, it’s was perfectly boring.
