July 16: “If thou tastest a crust of bread, thou tastest all the stars and all the heavens.” Rose…ok Robert Browning said that but Rose does not disagree. We quickly learned how to make Rose happy, give the girl a baguette!

The Trip to France

July 10: In March Phil was approached with an opportunity to attend John Warwick Montgomery’s International Academy of Apologetics, Evangelism & Human Rights that’s held in July in Strasbourg. With tuition and airfare paid for it seemed like a gift too great to pass up.
Then in May things changed with Rosie and leaving her in the care of someone else was not going to work. So it was either cancel the trip or take Rose. After a lot of thought and checking with her doctors we decided to take Rose. We didn’t know how it would go but we wanted to try to make the best of it and enjoy this new kind of adventure. We also prayed a lot that she’d stay healthy.
Eight Months Old

May 29: Rosie turns eight months old! This month she sits all by herself for a minute, gets fitted for her first pair of Ankle Foot Orthotics and starts doing more “leg work” for PT. Unfortunately this month she’s also had to fight off two UTIs after we had to begin using catheters to ensure her bladder is fully emptied. We do this several times a day from now on. With a bladder regimen going she also now has a bowel regimen. So much fun for her. Oh and she still hasn’t gotten any teeth!
