I got this basket at a rummage sale last weekend for 10 cents.
I looked beyond the silk flowers and “baby” ribbon hot glued on to it and saw a great basket for Lily’s Easter basket.
I found some ribbon I had on hand and voila. A little better I think. Maybe I’ll keep it for mine.

Well, I’m back in the sewing saddle. This weekend we were invited to a baby shower and I needed a gift. Since we’re lacking in baby boutiques in Bancroft I knew I’d have to get creative. I had just the right materials (bought in a former life) for what became a wonderful creation I was very proud of. I did have a hard time parting with this little dress, but was happy to have such a sweet baby girl to give it to. Our friends Pastor Kevin Cook and his wife Kristi had their baby Leah Marie a month ago. They don’t live very far from us, so I’m hoping Leah and Lily will be good pals someday.

Tah-dah!

One is never too old or too cool to color eggs for Easter, except Phil that is. I went next door to the Munderloh’s to dye eggs with their granddaughter Makala. Aren’t they pretty?

This is Makala and chubby bunny pregnant morning face with their pretty eggs.

Look how many we did!
