On April 14th the week of Christ’s Passion was remembered. We began with Palm Sunday, one of my favorite days of the year. Traditionally we enjoy “Palm Sundaes” on this day but we were, well, Mama was too busy or tired or tired and busy to get cookies made this year. I think I might have even gone to rest early and Daddy took over supper time. I can’t remember now. In any case, Holy Week began. We waved our palms and sang Hosanna!

In The Camper
Friday, June 7th, 2019
Our first trip of the season in the camper came in April. The kids had a couple days off from school so we hit the road and headed for Mahoney State Park. Of course it would have to be cold, wet and windy but we’re getting better at that kind of camping after the Fall we had. We stayed inside and enjoyed a few of the local indoor activities around our site. I still have a lot to learn about camper cooking but I consider this meal a success even with some burnt cookies for dessert.
Two Months Old

Abel turned 2 months old on March 28th. My sweet friend Kaite offered to take photos of him for me any time I wanted. I took her up on that offer and she got some wonderful shots of our little man. She even had me sit down with him for a minute to get some of us together. It wasn’t planned but I’m so glad she did that. Now let’s see if we can get her back over here for some 3 month photos.
