Esther asked for a Boxcar Children birthday party this year. And while I was worried this one would be too hard it was really fun to plan. I like to take on the creative challenges the babies give me when they ask for certain themes. The only one I’ve ever backed down from was Peter and the Wolf, which I had wanted to do for Ephraim’s 2nd birthday. Maybe another year though.

Our 9-10-11 baby turned 7 this year! Birthday breakfast was traditional, chocolate chip pancakes with sprinkles and cream.

This year for his 8th birthday, Gerhardt requested a “Nature” party. Any kind and every kind of thing Nature. Easy and fun to plan!

On August 28th we celebrated EIGHT years of Gerhardt! This is becoming his traditional Birthday Breakfast, Mama’s Bread. It’s machine made so don’t get too impressed with my baking skills too soon. The babies love it and always gobble up the XL sized loaf, the biggest it can make, in one sitting. Happy Birthday dear Gerhardt!
