He is risen! Happy Easter! We had an early and cold morning with a sunrise service and breakfast served by our youth group.

You can see our little Easter Lily poking out a bit! She didn’t like getting up early this morning and squirmed a lot in Mama’s tummy during church.

Biscuits smothered in gravy and little sausages make everyone happy!

Here’s my Easter basket. Mama, I tried to save the Snickers for Easter, but chocolate in the Hale house doesn’t last long. I managed to safeguard a few pieces for the big day.

One is never too old or too cool to color eggs for Easter, except Phil that is. I went next door to the Munderloh’s to dye eggs with their granddaughter Makala. Aren’t they pretty?

This is Makala and chubby bunny pregnant morning face with their pretty eggs.

Look how many we did!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you all. It’s a snowy rainy one for us. I think I’ll make some potatoes and beer bread, stay inside and eat all day.

Tuesday night the Men’s Club at church had a Valentine’s Day Supper. Here’s me and my Valentine, looking drunk and pregnant. I’ll let you decide which is which. You think we could’ve gotten a better picture for our first Valentine’s Day date! Oh well. The food was good.

It was also Jacob Sorenson’s birthday, so after supper we had ice cream to celebrate.
