After bringing many smiles to the faces of our shut-ins the girls were pooped. Being cute is hard work.

Clara is six months old today! I really can’t believe she’s been part of our family for half a year already. She’s still as loud as the day she was born, ok, maybe she’s getting louder, happy or mad, and always wanting to play. She can roll anywhere. She’s never still and is trying so hard to get up and crawl so she can follow her sister around. What a sweet and funny baby. We love you little sister!

Today I spent more time than it should have taken finishing up a gift for another baby Hale (Phil’s brother’s child) due at the end of the month. With 2 little ones around an hour long project turned into a 6 hour marathon of cut, sew, feed, pin, sew, change diaper, sew, get Lily off of Clara, pin, sew, get juice, etc, etc.
With only one more week until Christmas I finally had “spare” time to put a few decorations in the girls’ room. Lily likes to play with the dolls that are up on this shelf while she’s being changed. Now she can play with little baby Jesus.

Bellow are the slippers and bib I made. Lindsay, if you’re reading this DON’T LOOK!

Phil and I treated ourselves to a day out. We braved the 8 degree temperature and some ice to get to Sioux City. We ran errands, ate lunch at El Gardin O’live and had Starbucks coffee at Barnes and Noble. A very nice break and since we’re done with our Christmas shopping it was good to not have to worry about getting too far into the hustle and bustle!
