A Bundle of Myrrh

Reformation Sunday

November 15th, 2020 by Aubri

October 25: Reformation Sunday. All month in October we spend some time reading about Martin Luther and the Reformation. It’s always such a festive day. This year due to the pandemic we didn’t hold a Hymn Sing with church members in our home as we have in past years. It was much more subdued this time. We sang a few as a family. Esther, as our 3rd grader this year, received a cover for her new Bible, I made our annual big German meal with Schnitzel, Karottensalat and Spätzle and Lily made Triple Chocolate Pumpkin Bundt cake…it was amazing.

Congrats to Esther (and belated Happy Birthday).

I had to buy one of those doors after seeing yours last year – love that idea for Reformation. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Lea! The door is such a fun little thing to put out for the day. 🙂
