Remote Learning At the Parsonage

September 11th, 2020 by Aubri

August 18: I’ll admit the first week of school was rough. So many tech issues and well, sitting at the table on the tablet most of the day is hard for EVERYONE! Do I need to say especially if you’re 5…or 7? We got through it and I began to dread the next couple months but miracle of miracles Friday night we were told by the district that K-2nd graders would only be required to “attend” in the mornings. Shew. I can handle that…I think.

I also realized our set up would have to change if this was going to keep “working.” We did some shuffling after the first few days and finally got a better placement for everyone.

Some fun First Day after school treats.

Was it challenging to find a space for everyone? Glad to hear K-2 only needed to do mornings.

Hey Carrie! Thankfully our house has plenty of rooms and we converted our underused “guest room” into a “work/craft room” this summer, just in time. Jesus must have known we’d need that space! 😀 It was tricky to know where to put each child for best results, less distraction etc. That has changed several times.
