And now for the final installment of the Saga that was Summer Vacation! Day 6. We originally had planned one of our outings this day but were glad we had shuffled it to another. This mama had a lot of packing up and cleaning to do in the condo before we took off back to Nebraska. So we laid low but did get in one more gander around Vail and most importantly one more of those AWESOME public bus rides!
We left Colorado early on Friday August 10th and got into Omaha that afternoon. I can honestly say I’ve never been so so so happy to be home. We had made so many amazing memories on this trip but coming home felt wonderful.
And I was very relieved I’d left the house tidy. It’s always so nice to come back to a clean home then destroy it right away. Ahhhh. Home.
Thus ends the Great Summer Vacation of 2018.

During my brief visit this week, it was an exquisite joy to see your kids play outside. Their laughter, happiness, and harmony was like attending to a musical play, only more pure. And to see them all participate and seemingly take pleasure in the family devotions was amazing. I shall treasure the memory. All thanks to God for your family.
