Well some of you noticed that our blog went kaput last week. Thank you to those who let me know. I wondered why all the crickets were gathering. I could get technical and explain what went wrong, wait, I could let Phil get all technical and explain what went wrong, but I like y’all so I won’t do that to you. But he did want to say a few words.
Aubri started this blog about the time we were married in 2007. We moved from Blogger to WordPress in April of 2010. Since then A Bundle of Myrrh has been hosted on my home computer. It had its limitations and headaches, but worked reasonably well. After our internet provider changed their policies, without notification, that came to an end last week. So we are going the professional route now. It should be more reliable, faster, and allow for some fancier features. But it is the end of an era.
Did any of you just get a bit teary like I did? That is true nerd love, “the end of an era.” Poor Phil. Breaks my heart a little.
So you can see, our address is now abundleofmyrrh.com. The old link you all have should still work for a while and redirect you here but I’d recommend going ahead and updating your bookmarks!
There are still a few kinks we’re working out. Hopefully within a week or so we’ll Phil will have that fixed.
